garden grown… a concept that was born out of our own personal approach in life. being able to wander through the farmers market and pick props from our very own garden was the inspiration behind this shoot.
each time we create a shoot like this we not only get to share with you a part of us as we style and photograph it but also the amazingly talented people that are behind the products we source. jamie from follow studio has a simple elegant approach to the stationery she creates, using props from the endless collection at white & wander and of course shooting on location at pony was the best treat of all, picking items right off the shelves in the midst of a shot to add just that little bit extra was a stylists dream. we also had the opportunity to work closely with liberty at bubble n squeak to create the perfect winter menu for our shoot, her food is most definitely a treat. the rustic cake was created by silvana at the mac factory and deserves nothing less than the full page it received. our extra hands on the day were provided by kristy of erdelyi hair & body who not only did the hair/ makeup on the day and our beautiful assistant Claire that was also stepped in as our model for the day wearing Liza Emmanuel. these lovelies can really multi task. we also had a mini model dressed in the Bella dress from the amazing collection at Tea Princess. so this is our take on a rustic kitchen garden. simple and organic. we hope. x alia
